There are 4 guiding principles to a whole food plant based (WFPB) diet

  1. Eat whole plants – grains, beans, vegetables, fruits, nuts
  2. Avoid processed and artificial foods
  3. Avoid added oils and sugars
  4. Avoid animal sourced foods – meat, fish, eggs, dairy

The China Study is the largest WFPB study.

Forks over Knives is a good website to get general information. There is a documentary by the same name on Netflix.

Dr. Esselstyn says on his website – “Coronary heart disease is a benign foodborne illness which need never exist or progress”. I wholeheartedly agree!
