Quarantine flowers

Posted on 2021-02-122021-02-12 by Sameer Oza

What a bored man in quarantine does with his smartphone :). I was too lazy to unpack the camera and the macro lens though I should have.

We are lucky to be at the Chateau on the Park in Christchurch for our managed isolation. The place is run by the army. Every single person we have run into here has been kind. The nursing staff and wellbeing team has been calling and checking on us at least once a day without being intrusive. The restaurant has been very careful with our vegan diet and with providing us with well balanced, tasty meals.

The 2 hour time outside every day, especially in well maintained flower gardens was precious. 4 of those days we got unlimited time outside.

This stay has made me realize how much dependent I am on nature for my well being.
