south island, nz

We took a road trip. “Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain.” Thanks Jack. “Because – twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Thanks Mark.

And yes, we experienced overwhelming beauty in central Otago. And yes, that is a woman walking a horse and pushing a stroller in Glenorchy. And yes, it is autumn in April. And yes, 2 of the kids went bungee jumping. And yes, the kid that did not go bungee jumping made a cairn at every place we went. And yes, the West coast of New Zealand is like a green Sahara, especially on a rainy day.

I am glad you are enjoying NZ. I loved it, too. It gave me a perspective in my life that I reflect upon to this day. Thank you for sharing. Chris
