Beautiful pictures, Joe and I rented a camper van in 2002 for 6 weeks and toured North Island, South Island and Stewart Island. It was not enough time to see all that we hoped to see.
Joe was an avid birdwatcher and added many to his world bird list. We were so impressed with the clear waters and friendliness of the people. They helped us so much in our travels and have such beautiful memories of the places we visited. Your pictures fill in the places that we missed.

Joe and I rented a camper van in 2002 for 6 weeks and toured North Island, South Island and Stewart Island (took a ferry, stayed in a B and B since vehicles were not allowed on Stewart Island). It was not enough time to see all that we hoped to see. Joe was an avid birdwatcher and added many to his world bird list. I added lighthouses to my list. Both of us were so impressed with the clear waters and friendliness of the people. They helped us so much in our camper travel and I have such beautiful memories of the places we visited.
