fall’s swan song

Posted on 2022-11-072022-11-07 by Sameer Oza

A weekend fall farewell photography tour in the Kootenays, Canada. The larches are still holding on to their colors and their needles. In some places the aspens and cottonwoods are still braving the winter storms. It is fall’s last hurrah. The swan song, literally. Watch the video below. Just happened to stop at Sullivan Lake in Washington near Metaline Falls on the way back to Coeur d’Alene. And found myself hanging out with a couple dozen trumpeter swans, their calls echoing through the valley!
