There are 4 guiding principles to a whole food plant based (WFPB) diet
- Eat whole plants – grains, beans, vegetables, fruits, nuts
- Avoid processed and artificial foods
- Avoid added oils and sugars
- Avoid animal sourced foods – meat, fish, eggs, dairy
The China Study is the largest WFPB study.
Forks over Knives is a good website to get general information. There is a documentary by the same name on Netflix.
